At Mountain Creek Outfitters, we are deeply concerned for your safety and comfort. All tours and rentals include an instructional briefing. Children must be at least five years old to paddle with an adult or ride along (no charge) in the center seat, and at least eight years old to paddle alone.
Kayak Information
We offer both single and tandem (two person) sit-on-top kayaks. Sit-on-top kayaks have open cockpits which allow you to enter from the dock, water, or shore. They are self-bailing. The seat and foot-rests are molded.
These boats are very safe, stable, and easy to paddle. They are great for beginners, but are versatile enough to satisfy a more experienced paddler. Sit-on-tops can accomodate a leisurely paddle on the lake, a day of fishing, or a river excursion.
