If renting a kayak for a few hours just isn't enough fun for you, we have some great tour opportunities for you to consider.

Half-Day Guided Tour
These guided half-day tours are perfect for first-time paddlers and include the most scenic areas in the Uwharrie region!
Paddle time is 2-3 hours.
Full-Day Guided Tour
Our full-day tour is great for families or small groups that want a little more adventure. This tour begins with a paddle down the Uwharrie River to Lake Tillery. Once on the lake, we'll paddle toward the dam for a picnic on the "beach".
After the picnic everyone will be given the opportunity to snap photos or just paddle around and explore the area.
Estimated about 5-6 hours.
Sunset/Full Moon Tour
If you need a romantic evening for that special someone, or just want to enjoy the magical scenery that night brings, this tour's for you.
It begins at the Falls Resevoir boat landing, just before sunset. You'll paddle along the mystical Uwharries to a rock island to watch the sun set and capture the moment with your camera.
After the sun has set, we'll paddle back to the landing under the glow of a breathtaking full moon. Beside an outdoor fireplace you'll enjoy some wine and cheese.
There is only a three-day availability per full moon,

Custom Tours
One feature very unique to Mountain Creek Outfitters is our availability and willingness to do Custom Tours. Any occasion (birthdays, sunrise, fishing trips, anniversaries, photography-driven trips, etc.) can be enhanced from the seat of a kayak.
